"Sanded Grid "

Supplies:

 

Scor-Pal®

Scor-Tape

Sandpaper

Personal Trimmer or scissors

Card Stock, 5" x 10" (red in our sample)

Card Stock, 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" (cream in our sample)

Card Stock with white core, 4 x 4 (black in our sample) It is very important the paper has a white core.

Card Stock, designer paper, ¾" x 5" (striped in our sample, Crate Paper)

Embellishments (velvet flower brad Creative Imaginations, pearl string, self-adhesive pearls Joy! crafts)

Stamps (sentiment, Carte Postale SU!, French Script SU!, hearts SU!)

Ink (bravo burgundy SU!,  Versamark Tsukineko)

Embossing Powder, vanilla SU!

Step 1:

         With the 10” length along the top and left fence, score at 5”. Finished card size is a five inch square.

         Stamp front of card with background stamp.

Step 2:

         Align the corner of the 4 x 4 piece of

         card stock with the white core, to the 6”

         mark. Make sure the opposite

         corner is aligned to the same groove.

         Score. Keeping the paper in this

         position, hold it firmly and score on

         either side of this first score line at

         every half inch. 

Step 3:

Rotate the 4 x 4 card stock to the other corners and repeat Step 2. Previous score lines are shown as solid lines.

Step 5:

Adhere the sanded card stock to the

4 1/8” x 4 1/8” piece of card stock, adhere the entire piece to the card.

Step 6:

Attach the flower brad and pearl strands to the strip of designer paper and adhere to the card. Stick the self-adhesive pearls randomly to the sanded grid. Refer to photo.

 

Step 7:

Stamp sentiment and emboss. This completes the card.
