"Lexicon of Love"

Playing Cards Gift Box

Leslie is fortunate to share her life with a wonderful husband, one grown son, and an aging, furry feline. They are all very patient, indulgent and tolerant.  When she is not stamping Leslie works full time in a medical laboratory and enjoys tending her large ornamental garden. Spending time with family and friends brings her great joy. Indeed life has a surprise around every corner!

Stamping and papercrafting have been a passion for about ten years. In 2004 Leslie became a Stampin’ Up demonstrator and organizes a hostess club meeting once a month. About a year ago, to share the love with many more stampers she started a blog and has made lots of friends along the way!  Leslie is an alumni of the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen Design Team and currently a design team member for Flourishes stamps.  Her work has been published in Stampers Sampler and Take Ten magazines.

Step 4:

Use the photo as a guide for where you trim and clip.  For the two little flaps at the top, marked with arrows, cut away just a smidgen from the score lines.  This will allow the top box flap (lid) to slip closed more easily.

Cut away a smidgen from the score lines.

Step 5:

Glue designer paper to box panels.  The score line indentations are on the front of the box. You will be folding with the score line to the outside of the fold. Punch a half circle in the panel on the left end — this will be the front of the box.

Fold into box shape and adhere closed with Scor-Tape™ - “or any strong adhesive.  Finish decorating box as desired.
